Here’s the story:
When heatwaves strike, it’s far more difficult to cope with stifling temperatures in built-up areas than it is out in the countryside. An ESA campaign has just been carried out to see if a spaceborne thermal infrared sensor could help policy makers and town planners reduce the number of casualties when temperatures soar.

This article is so good, I’m gonna plagiarize the entire article. This article by Jack Spencer needs to be read word for word:
What if the government allowed you to burn only 25 percent of every tank of gas? Or if Washington made you pour half of every gallon of milk down the drain?

Here’s the story:
Research findings published in the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics calculate that corn and rapeseed biodiesels produce up to 70 percent and 50 percent more greenhouse gases respectively than fossil fuels.
Now, this gets to the root of my problem with the global warming debate. Yeah, I know, the debate is over. However, the problem [...]

Livescience ran with that headline. Note the plural of accidents. That kinda caught my eye as I’m sure it would most people. Given the phobia a lot of people have about nuclear plants, I’m sure a lot of those people just agreed with it and went on. They KNOW accidents happen [...]

The nuclear [...]

Representative Bart Gordon of Tennessee sent this post to The Hill:
The House Committee on Science and Technology took an important step toward energy innovation and security this week with the passage of H.R. 364, a bill to establish an Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E).
I first introduced this bill in the 109th Congress in [...]

When I was in college, I occasionally liked to go to frat parties with my special shock value beer of choice. In the mid 80’s, Foster’s came out with this quart can that looked a lot like the old quarts of motor oil. Being as drinking expensive imported beer from other countries hadn’t [...]

Now, this is how I’d like to see trains perform here:
It’s cruising at about 320 mph. Something like that would revive passenger train service in the US in a heartbeat. Power those trains with nuclear energy and we’re a long way towards lowering those pesky CO2 emissions the global warmists are complaining about.
