So far Cycle 24 has been a dud. That’s not terribly important since it’s so early in it’s life. However, it makes for very boring sun gazing. However, things have picked up a little.
We had an actual Coronal Mass Ejection! It was little, but I still love them:
And now we have a “growing” sunspot. They say that because it’s tiny right now:
