Jeff Peckman wants Denver to form an extra-terrestrial affairs committee. The reason is he has a video that proves aliens exist. They apparently are about four feet tall. He apparently got this video of the alien peeping through a window at night on infra-red ( night vision ) camera. Of course, his main point is this proves a government cover-up.
Now, this is where it gets predictable.
Peckman’s former efforts in dealing with the council included a proposed ballot for “safety through peace” and most recently, a device to reduce the chaos of electromagnetic fields.
In support(?) of Peckman, a group of local high school students showed up at the meeting wearing, you guessed it, tin foil hats.

- May 30, 2008: Well, the day has pretty much come and gone, and all we got was a still from the video. Not much proof of anything. However, what I did get was something more interesting I think. The video is from a fellow named Stan Romanek. He caused a pretty good stir a few years ago with about five or ten people by predicting something would occur 12/12/03. Nothing did. Stan’s other problem, depending on when you asked the question, is he has been abducted by aliens. And, has had hundreds of run-ins with aliens. That is the source of the video we are supposed to believe how we perceive aliens forever.

Wasn’t that one of the viables the illuminati was going to use to justify globalization? Supposedly a threat from outer space would unite the planet???
This is either a joke, a nutcase or a plan. I guess it could be a plan now that we have space weapons that the general population knows nothing about. I guess it might come in handy for “false flag” events supposely from aliens, kind of like the 9-11 supposedly with arabs, 5 of whom are still living in Saudi Arabia. But I don’t think we are all that stupid. Are we??? LOL

I believe ET’s exist. There are billions of planets floating around billions of suns. The logic in assuming there is something very unique about our geometry is a little too vain for me. However, I don’t think flying saucers just flit around Earth, occasionally gutting cows or drawing pretty pictures in cornfields. If one could fly randomly amongst the stars, I would think there would be more interesting things one could do. I would think if an alien were to visit Earth, they’d be a little more pronounced in why they picked this little dot amongst millions at their disposal.
I truly think what most people see in regards to UFO’s are man-made or optical illusions. It was years after several “unexplained” sitings that we finally came to be aware of the B-1 Bomber for example.

Just kiddin, it loaded fine for me. That’s not the actual Romanek video ( I know you know that ), but I hear it’s readily available on some other sites. I looked but couldn’t find it. I guess I’ll have to wait for Peckman to release it whenever he feels like it. I have no clue why he didn’t today. He’s already sunk himself into this as far as he can get, may as well run with it.

What if truly intelligent beings also had highly developed senses of humor? Can you imagine them sitting up there laughing their asses, or whatever they sit on, off every time we find a new crop circle and assign some great spiritual meaning to it when it fact its just something they came up with on their version of photoshop?? Oh, I would think they could be a little more creative than that. I mean, how long would they think the same joke would work? I would think by this point they would send an image of Marilyn Manson with the message “I am your lord.”
Intelligent life probably DOES exist elsewhere. Proof? Well, I think planet Earth is a good piece of evidence!
