Pilots of a Chilean commercial aircraft approaching the Auckland airport in New Zealand said they spotted flaming space debris falling past their jet, the LAN Chile airline reported Wednesday.
The airline said in a brief communique that the pilot, who was not identified, “made visual contact with incandescent fragments several kilometers away” on Monday.

Investigators believe Garth M. Flaherty, 24, took as many as 1,500 undergarments from apartment complex laundry rooms before he was caught, police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said.

Some animal rights activists want a polar bear cub to be killed for what’s best for it.
That sounds kinda stupid to me. It seems to me the problem we’ve got now is too many activists and not enough polar bears already. What do you all think?

NASA has released this video regarding the seas of Titan. It is cool. The largest “sea” is about the size of Lake Superior. But, it’s probably mostly methane gas. Not too fun of a place for humans to hang out. But, who’s to say some other form of life wouldn’t prefer it?
