How big do you think the Shuttle really is?

Ever seen a Shuttle up close? I have, they’re BIG! Ever watch a launch on tv or live? It’s all consuming. However, bet you never saw a Shuttle launch from this angle:

Puts things in a different perspective, huh?

( Got a minor update, although I don’t mention it, the original captions were that these pictures were taken from the International Space Station.  Actually, it’s taken from a high altitutude jet. )
