The Pale Blue Dot

Man has a rather egocentric nature. At one time we were sure we were the center of the universe. After a while, we knew better. But, to this day, a lot of people are quite certain we are the only intelligent life there is in this universe. I don’t think that’s true at all. The only thing that supports that idea is the vastness of space. And, that age-old question applies when considering the vastness of space, “Why would they come here?”. Space is huge, bigger than most people can imagine. Just to put things in perspective, if you were travelling the solar system, and decided to check on the biggest and baddest planets because you could see them from a far distance, you’d probably not even notice this little dot when cruising Saturn:
That little dot is us.
