That’s the story. Pretty cool huh? What was disturbing to me about the story was the picture of the animal:
"It was for sale on a table next to some vegetables. I knew immediately it was something I had never seen before," Robert Timmins, a WCS researcher, was quoted as saying of his find.
Then why didn’t you take a picture of it? I just have a hard time in this day and age of picture cell phones and all kinds of instant imaging to buy into a chalk drawing.
I went to Wikipedia, same pic. This thing was found in a market, the guy knew it was a whole new species, and no one has a pic of it. Hmmmm?

I believe it would have already been skinned, and prepped. Westerners would have found the pick to be to distrubing. I doubt that he didn’t take any though. Next thing to do is find a living one to study, and belive me if this is fake we will know soon. If the hunters can find it, that means that all you have to do is pay to occompany them on a hunt, and then you know where to live trap.
“We don’t tell kids how to use condoms becouse they fail when used incorrectly”
Then the question I have, if it was skinned and prepped, is how did he know that it was a unique animal?
I’m still skeptical. Use the cell phone if nothing else and take a pic.
HAHAHAH YEAH RIGHT!
Everytime I see s**t like this I can’t help but to remember this stupid guy I dated 4 years ago named John. He told me he used to work for the U.N. Secret Service and every day had some idiodic wild made up story for me. I’ll never forget the one where he said he was served “human leg” by some villagers in Cambodia. As if that’s not stupid enough, he added, “And when they told me what it was I informed them of how he was killed…he was strangled to death…I could tell by the way the meat tasted.” HAHAHAHA
